New Project For Later This Year…

With the efforts in Los Angeles temporarily stalled until 2028 to lower the voting age, there are still efforts to lower the voting age to 16 across the country. While some are still in the planning process of introducing legislation locally to get their local governments to consider enacting municipal laws to help lower the voting age, there are also several other jurisdictions across the nation that are looking to work on active campaigns.

I’m currently working on a project with some supporters to help some efforts outside of the Golden State. Because these are in the planning stages still & I’m unable to reveal those details at this time, I am sharing what I do have on hand at this time.

I will be helming a new project that will putting together ideas from some supporters from a diverse set of backgrounds. Although we’ll be setting the plan in motion in the near future, the project will also be encompassing the next several years, so just because we’re not actively posting much doesn’t mean we’re not working on anything. I can say that some actions will take place in the next few months, so you’ll start to see some activity documented on this blog, mostly on the 16th of each month, but also some days outside of the 16th if it’s necessary to accommodate the large amount of info, since some activities will likely require more than one day a month to post about.

For now, stay tuned- we’re just getting started, but also continuing the work that’s going on to help existing efforts. This project could really help the voting age efforts, so definitely stay connected.
